Horizons at The Ethel Walker School has the distinction of being the first all-girls Horizons program in the entire nation, serving under-represented Brown and Black girls in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area. As such, our key focus is “Equity in Education:” enabling every girl who attends our program the opportunity to gain the skills, confidence, and motivation to overcome the opportunity gap and realize her full potential.
